Being present in Hamlet 6, Thach Son Commune, Anh Son District, it is easy to recognize the unsafe state of the power lines that are taking place, with bare electric wires hanging precariously on wooden poles, bamboo poles or concrete poles that have deteriorated over time. Mr. Tran Van Hoang, a resident of village 6, Thach Son commune, was upset: The whole hamlet has 3-4 leaning electric poles, people have to make their own support poles to ensure electricity for lighting and to prevent them from falling, however, this is only a temporary measure, if left for a long time it will not be safe. Mr. Dang Quang Dong, a resident of village 6, Thach Son commune, said: Here, the electric poles are all cracked, we have to fix them ourselves by pouring concrete around the poles, the electric wires are low, adults can reach them by standing and reaching out, recently in the village someone had an accident due to electric shock and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, so we are very confused. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thach Son Commune, said: Currently, in the commune, there are 5 fallen electric poles, 20 broken poles at risk of falling, and dozens of degraded electric poles. The most dangerous thing is that many power lines are currently using bare wires on degraded pole systems. The locality has requested the electricity industry to quickly fix the problem before the rainy season to ensure the safety of people's lives and property. While waiting for solutions from the authorities, people still have to accept the risks and dangers from the degraded power grid system, which is no longer safe. Photo: Huyen My

In 2009, the Commune People's Committee and the Thach Son Commune Electricity Service Cooperative handed over the entire power grid system in the commune to Anh Son Electricity Branch for management and operation with fixed assets of over 40 million VND. During the management process, the 5,377 m long low-voltage power line system in 4 villages 4,5,6,7 has seriously degraded and needs to be repaired, upgraded and invested in by the electricity sector. |
