SLNA fans in England donated nearly 150 million to the 'SLNA Charity Fund'

(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, the 'SLNA FC Open in Birmingham - UK' football tournament was held to raise funds for charity. The organizers raised 5,300 pounds (UK) to send to the disabled and disadvantaged people in their home country.

All donations were sent back to the homeland by the tournament organizers for charity purposes.

The “SLNA FC Open in Birmingham - UK” football tournament gathered 4 teams including: SLNA FC Birmingham (host), Anh em Nghe An Newcastle, Anh em Nghe An London and Do Thanh Nghe An FC. At the end of the tournament, the championship belonged to Anh em Nghe An London.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tu, representative of the Organizing Committee of the "SLNA FC Open Football Tournament in Birmingham - UK" happily said: "The money raised after the tournament was transferred by the Organizing Committee to the charity fund of Song Lam Nghe An Football Club with the purpose of helping those in difficult and unfortunate circumstances."

A representative of the SLNA Fan Club in Birmingham (UK) added that at the end of this year, a larger-scale football tournament will be held.

Currently, the representative of SLNA Club has received 5,300 pounds (about 147 million VND) in hand to support the team's Charity Fund.

In the coming time, members and volunteers of the Nghe An football team will directly go to areas with many difficult circumstances to hand over the money that the Fund has received.
