Biological father reveals special circumstances of new Miss Doan Thien An

The final round of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 officially ended with the victory belonging to Doan Thien An from Long An. This result surprised many beauty fans, because Thien An was not too prominent in the previous rounds.

Few people know that Doan Thien An lost her mother when she was in 11th grade. Sharing right after his daughter's coronation night, Mr. Bao Hung - Thien An's father said that she is a brave person, dares to face all problems in life, has strong will and determination. However, at first, he did not dare to think that his daughter would win the highest position in this competition.

He emotionally said: "I felt surprised, happy and also very proud when my daughter won the crown. Thien An did not tell me in advance when she entered the competition, she only informed me half a month ago. I support her and know she will have enough strength to do everything, as for the result, I do not care."

Thien An's father said she is a quiet person but has personality, is very obedient and independent.

"Thien An is very obedient. When her mother passed away, she struggled on her own, not afraid of difficulties. She is quiet, and shares many things with her family, but only about family issues. However, Thien An is an adult, so she can make her own decisions in life, and I respect her decisions," said Mr. Hung.

Talking about his daughter entering a new environment with many temptations and challenges, the beauty queen's father believes that with her inherent determination, she will stand firm and overcome everything.

Ms. Tran - Miss Doan Thien An's friend also assessed her as a brave person: "Thien An's family situation is not too difficult. However, she is very good, independent from an early age to take care of all expenses in life, from tuition to beauty pageant expenses. Thien An is also loved by many people, receiving a lot of help from teachers and friends."

The new beauty queen's friend also said that before the final night, Doan Thien An had an accident that affected her health. When performing at the final, her legs were still bruised. However, the beauty still tried her best to complete the competition well to reach the crown.

Doan Thien An was born in 2000, 1.75m tall, 3-round measurements 88.5-66-98cm. She won the 2018 Ao Dai Female Student Face Championship, is considered to have a bright stage face, flexible communication skills and is currently a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry.

There was a time when the beauty was self-conscious about her figure because she weighed 75 kg and received a lot of criticism from people around her. After that, she made an effort to lose weight and achieve the figure she has today.

It was also the issue of her past appearance that became the inspiration, the story Thien An included in her presentation of the top 10. This honest and touching presentation helped her win the award for Best Peace Presentation.
