Rating Vietnamese players after the match against China
(Baonghean.vn) - Midfielder Hoang Duc has the second consecutive match with the highest score of the Vietnam National Team. On the other hand, goalkeeper Tan Truong is the one with the lowest score on Sofascore.
Sofascore website gave the Chinese team an average score of 6.84 to win the match, while Vietnam only got 6.54. With 2 goals, Wu Lei was the player with the highest score on the Chinese side (8.2 points). On the Vietnamese side, Hoang Duc had the second consecutive match with the highest score on the team with 7.6 points. Currently, the Viettel midfielder is the player with the best performance on the Vietnamese team in the last 3 matches. Hoang Duc's tenacity in collisions has increased significantly and his creative passes have surprised the opponent.
Below average defense
Conceding 3 goals and having an accurate ability to catch situations rated 43% by the computer, goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong only got 5.8 points. Both long passes from left back Whang Senchao, goalkeeper Tan Truong could not read the opponent's intention. Wu Lei scored after 3 chances, all of which were long passes with a landing point, both the goalkeeper and the central defenders were at fault.
Although he was at fault for the first goal, but because he supported Hong Duy well in the following minutes, Tien Dung was still given 6.7 points despite being substituted. Van Thanh on the right wing was given 6.6 points and together with Tien Dung, was considered the 2 defenders with scores higher than the team's average. The remaining defenders Duy Manh (5.9 points), Hong Duy (6.0), Ngoc Hai (6.1) and Thanh Binh (6.2) were all lower than the average score of 6.54. Due to their physical and mental disadvantages, the Vietnamese defenders could not maintain their ability to stick around in the final minutes of the match.

To be fair, it is the fault of the two goals conceded that Sofascore gave reserve player Thanh Binh a higher score than Ngoc Hai, which will make many people confused. It is known that Sofascore has more than 20 criteria to score and the computer makes the decision, but the developments on the field show that Ngoc Hai played not badly.
While young midfielder Hoang Duc played brilliantly, Tuan Anh was overshadowed and only received a 6.4 rating, lower than his replacement Xuan Truong who received a 6.5 rating. Captain Xi Wu continuously suppressed HAGL players in the midfield area, it seemed that this player's peak period had passed. Van Duc received a 6.8 rating despite being substituted, while Quang Hai received a 7.0 rating, which also seemed to be controversial. Quang Hai's participation in assisting Tien Linh to score could have been given a higher rating. Van Duc needs to improve his performance if he does not want to be on the bench when Coach Park's patience has its limits.
Tan Tai and Tien Linh shine
Van Toan andCong Phuongwas rated 6.4 below average because the warm-up time when entering the field was not enough for the computer to make an accurate decision. Many experts believe that both players completely deserved to be on the field earlier. Defender Tan Tai deserved 6.8 points, even with the goal that shortened the score to 1-2, if Sofascore had loosened its hand and given a higher score, no one would have questioned it. Trong Hoang is old and Tan Tai deserves to be replaced even though Van Thanh is doing his job well. Coincidentally, Tan Tai was the one who made the decisive pass for Tien Linh to score in the 2-0 win over U22 China in Wuhan 2 years ago.

Striker Tien Linh deserved the second highest score of 7.5 in the team and showed why he deserves to replace his senior Anh Duc. His delicate but equally tricky and high-speed handling to score the equalizer 2-2 is not something many Vietnamese players can do. The story of the team's attack now is who coach Park will arrange Tien Linh to play with.
A loss that even the person involved, like language assistant Le Huy Khoa, exclaimed: "Please tell me the truth, I have never lost football and felt so angry."
