Ending friendship treaty with Russia will mainly affect Ukrainians
The decree on the termination of the Treaty of Friendship between Ukraine and Russia will primarily affect Ukrainians, said Duma deputy from the city of Sevastopol Dmitry Belik.

"The cancellation of this treaty is an obstacle to the economic and political stability of Ukraine. The European dream has not come true, and the systematic attacks on Russia deprive Ukraine of a source of income," the lawmaker said, stressing that this step was dictated by the personal ambitions of the Ukrainian President.
On September 17, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to terminate the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between Ukraine and Russia, signed in 1997.
