(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of February 1, within the framework of the visit and New Year greetings in the western districts of Nghe An, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspectedpreparations for people to celebrate Tet and welcome spring at theCon Cuong and Anh Son districts.

Accompanying the delegation were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and leaders of provincial departments and branches. Welcoming the delegation were leaders of Con Cuong and Anh Son districts.

At the working session with the leaders of Con Cuong and Anh Son districts, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong quickly announced some results of the 12th National Party Congress. The Nghe An delegation made many contributions to the success of the Congress, including contributing opinions to the documents submitted to the Congress; high consensus in personnel work... He said that those contributions fully reflected the thoughts and aspirations of the Party Committee and people of the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that Con Cuong and Anh Son districts will continue to promote their responsibilities, ensure social order and safety, border security, and excellently complete assigned tasks before, during and after the Lunar New Year and throughout the new year 2016.

He requested local authorities to pay attention to implementing many policies and solutions to sustainably reduce poverty, ensuring that households can celebrate the traditional Tet holiday in a peaceful and warm atmosphere. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Party committees and authorities of districts to raise vigilance and quickly respond to unexpected situations caused by hostile forces taking advantage of the traditional Tet holiday.

Regarding the support from the Central Government, the province, and from businesses and philanthropists, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong requested district leaders to specifically and accurately review and hand over meaningful gifts to show the concern of the whole society for poor households and policy families in the area.

Regarding the work of ensuring security and order, such as social evils, gambling, superstition; ensuring food hygiene and safety, preventing firecrackers; reducing traffic accidents... districts need to urgently develop specific plans and implement them effectively.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished the people of the districts a truly warm, peaceful and prosperous Tet and new spring, and requested that after Tet, the districts urgently implement production and labor plans, truly creating a competitive atmosphere in the whole society.
