Stopped and caught drug addict carrying 1,400 pink pills to sell
(Baonghean.vn) - Taking advantage of his close relationship with some powerful Mong people in the Vietnam - Laos border area, Lu Van Hoan found "connections" to buy drugs and then brought them downstream to sell for profit.
On January 3, Quy Chau District Police said that the unit had justarrestA large-scale drug trafficker. That was Lu Van Hoan, a long-time drug addict with a criminal record for illegal possession of drugs.

After more than a day and night of closely following every movement of the subject, at 4:15 p.m. on January 2, 2021, when Lu Van Hoan was traveling by motorbike to the Ba Cong slope area in Chau Hoan commune, Quy Chau district, the working group raided and arrested him. During the arrest, Hoan fought back fiercely in an attempt to escape but failed. Hoan was quickly subdued and arrested. Searching the scene, the Task Force seized a number ofexhibits, including: 1 motorbike, 2 mobile phones and 1,400 pink meth pills.

At the Quy Chau District Police Investigation Agency, Lu Van Hoan initially admitted his crime. He confessed that he bought the above drugs from Mong people in Tri Le Commune, Que Phong District, then brought them back to Nghia Dan District to sell to addicts to make a profit and satisfy his addiction.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded by Quy Chau District Police.
