Blocking and robbing young girls in secluded areas.
Sam Van Nhip, 27, is accused of stopping vehicles and robbing young girls of their money on deserted roads.
Nhip was arrested and detained by the Ninh Hai District Police, Ninh Thuan Province, for the following offense:RobberyAccording to Article 168 of the Penal Code, on the afternoon of January 12th.

According to the investigation, at approximately 6 PM on January 10th, Nhip went to the area near the cemetery in Phuong Hai commune, Ninh Hai district. Seeing a 16-year-old girl riding a motorbike alone, he stopped her, threatened her, and searched her belongings. When the victim resisted and shouted for help, Nhip threatened to kill her, took 150,000 VND, and left.
Two days earlier, Nhip had committed a similar act against a young girl in Bac Son commune, Thuan Bac district. Because the victim had no money, the robber was unable to steal anything.
The Ninh Hai District Police extracted security camera footage along the road, identified Nhip as the perpetrator, and arrested him.
Initially, Nhip confessed that due to a lack of money, he came up with the idea of robbing young girls walking alone on deserted roads.
