Stopped 76 subjects gathering to prepare to commit a crime

Mong Cai City Police (Quang Ninh) have just successfully prevented nearly 80 subjects from various localities from gathering here to prepare to commit a crime.

The Social Order Crime Investigation Police Team - Mong Cai City Police just coordinated with Tran Phu Ward Police (Mong Cai, Quang Ninh) to successfully prevent a group of criminals from other localities from coming to Mong Cai City with the purpose of committing crimes.

On January 5, the Social Order Crime Investigation Police Team and Tran Phu Ward Police conducted an administrative inspection of Van Xuan Motel, located in Village 9, Hai Xuan Commune, Mong Cai City. During the inspection, 76 young men were discovered, including 8 permanent residents of Uong Bi City, 46 residents of Quang Yen Town, 12 residents of Ha Long City, 5 residents of Hai Ha District, 4 residents of Dong Trieu Town and 1 resident of Hai Phong City with many suspicious signs.

Through initial investigation, it was determined that these 76 subjects were called to Mong Cai city by Ha Tuan Nam (aka Nam “Diep”, born in 1988), residing in Zone 3, Hai Hoa ward, Mong Cai city, with the purpose of personal revenge. The subject that Nam targeted was Pham Tuan Anh (aka “Ly Thong”), born in 1988, residing at 155/46, Lach Tray street, Hang Kenh ward, Le Chan district, Hai Phong city.

Previously, in the early morning of January 1, 2017, at the entrance of Kinh Do bar, in zone 2, Tran Phu ward, Mong Cai city, Ha Tuan Nam had a personal conflict and fought with Pham Tuan Anh.

The Social Order Crime Investigation Police Team - Mong Cai City Police is verifying the relatives and background of the subjects, opening files for prevention and management and handling Ha Tuan Nam and Pham Tuan Anh according to regulations. For the 76 subjects, Mong Cai City Police have organized deterrence and forced the subjects to return to their localities, and at the same time discussed with the local police of the subjects to jointly manage and prevent./.
