Mike did not force Sam to have children, but gently whispered to his wife about her desire to be a father, which gradually changed her.

Sam Nguyen went to the US to study when she was 16. Being a girl with a very strong personality, during her time in university, Sam changed schools 3 times. Sam said that she changed schools continuously partly because she had not found a major she really loved, and partly because she wanted to travel, explore new people, and have new experiences in the land of the stars and stripes. Sam went to the cities of Indiana, Tacoma, Seattle, Houston, and only stopped at the schoolArt Institute of Houston, where the 9x girl felt she was really interested in the field of fashion design.

Sam was beautiful and charming, so there were always men around to flirt with her. However, 2 years after her broken relationship, she tied her heart tightly, not opening it to anyone. When she met Mike, her current husband, at a meeting with friends in October 2014, Sam was not moved at all, even though that day, many girls surrounded him, praising his handsome appearance.

During that party, among many girls, Mike only paid attention to Sam. The student atHouston Community College asked friends to ask for her phone number and Facebook to text and get to know her, but Sam only responded occasionally.

Seeing Sam cold and difficult to approach, Mike changed tactics. Knowing thatAt her workplace, he came all the way there just to see her, chat and silently follow her back and forth every day. Every day, he diligently sent her many wishes and prepared many small gifts for her. Although he closed his heart after the broken relationship, but with Mike's perseverance and care, Sam nodded in agreement after 3 months of knowing each other.

It took Mike a long time to win over Sam.

The two got married in mid-2015. Their married life was quite happy, Sam worked as a DJ at a music bar, doing business with her family, while Mike was still studying and managing a restaurant. The only difference between them was that Mike wanted to have children, while Sam did not.

Haunted by a painful birth story since high school, seeing women around her complaining about their ugly, heavy bodies after giving birth, Sam decided that when she got married, she would adopt a child, and definitely not have children. When she fell in love with any guy, Sam would say it directly.

Mike is different, a 29-year-old man who longs to be a father, to have children of his own, because he has lacked affection since childhood.

Sam clearly remembers Mike's confession: "When I was born, my parents were divorced. My father's new wife wouldn't let him visit me. When I was a child, I only saw my father once when I was 5 years old. That time, my father took me out, promising to come back, but he never showed up again until now. After that, every time I met someone who was my mother's friend, I called them 'daddy', but everyone replied 'I'm not your father', which made me very sad."

Mike didn't say much, and didn't force Sam to have a child for him. But sometimes he would whisper to his wife about his desire to have their own child, how happy he would be to see the child born... Then, Mike let Sam think and make her own decision.

Slow and steady wins the race. After months of struggling with herself, Sam finally gave in to her husband's wishes. She didn't use any birth control and was lucky enough to get pregnant half a year after their wedding. Mike was overjoyed, but for Sam, those were truly terrifying days. She suffered from severe morning sickness and even severe stress.

The devoted care of her American husband made Sam cancel her intention of never having children for the rest of her life.

"People only have morning sickness at certain times of the day, but I had morning sickness 24/7, couldn't eat or drink anything, was bedridden, my limbs were weak, I lost 8 kg, now only 35 kg. I also suffered from severe depression, just kept crying all day. Ihot-tempered, unreasonably angry and unable to control herself, often quarreling with her husband", Sam recounted.

Having studied the psychological problems of pregnant wives, Mike understood all the changes in his wife. Mike never reacted or talked back. He always gently and thoughtfully said goodbye.n error. "I know pregnancy is difficult. I appreciate Sam because she endured those uncomfortable feelings for me. I still say that no matter how Sam changes, she is still the most beautiful, most attractive woman in my eyes," Mike said.

His wife was too tired to do anything, so as soon as she came home from school, Mike would rush into doing housework and taking care of Sam. He did everything from cleaning the house, cooking, washing dishes, doing laundry, folding clothes... all by himself. He even bathed, washed his wife's hair, and cut her nails, diligently and patiently without a word of complaint.

"Mike took very good care of me. After I finished eating, he brought medicine to my mouth, put a hot towel on my neck every time I felt nauseous, and did everything according to my wishes. But I was still not satisfied. Once, when I spoke harshly to him when he made me unhappy, I saw him quietly turn away, washing the dishes, and shedding tears," Sam recounted.

That moment made the young woman realize that she had been acting too selfishly, not paying attention to her husband's thoughts and feelings all this time. From then on, she learned to control her emotions better, to share more gently with each other, to have a peaceful and happy final months of pregnancy.

Mike did all the housework during his wife's pregnancy.

His wife's due date was approaching, so the 29-year-old man asked to defer his university results and take a semester off to take care of Sam, even though he would graduate in just this semester.Mike searched all the channels for mothers, watched them all, then showed them to Sam. He taught his wife how to push and how to breathe during labor.

During the 17 hours in the hospital waiting to give birth in early September, Mike was always by Sam's side, not sleeping at all. The young father stood by her side, massaging, watching, and cheering her on. The moment baby Skylar Lee Boyd was born, Mike cried like a baby.

Since the baby was born, Mike was happy and eager to do everything, like changing diapers, feeding him milk and rocking him to sleep. He even got upset when Sam wouldn't let him do anything.

"I once intended not to have children, but when I felt the first kicks in my belly, saw my baby growing every day through ultrasound images, I felt indescribable happiness. Seeing my baby born, seeing him cry, seeing him smile, I realized how sacred the role of motherhood is. I still silently thank Mike for helping me have unforgettable experiences in my life," Sam confided.
