Quality education is built on responsibility and love.
(Baonghean.vn) - At Nghe An Ethnic Minority High School, the school is considered by students as a second home and the teachers are like fathers and mothers who take care of and educate the children to become good people... This is also one of the five schools chosen to pilot the construction of a high-quality key school in the province.
Inspire dreams and ambitions
On Saturday morning, more than a week after the 2019-2020 school year ended, the Board of Directors of Nghe An Ethnic Minority High School still reserved a special gift for the 12th grade students who are studying for the exam at the school. That was a talk with speaker Dao Ngoc Cuong - who was recognized by the Central Record Association and the Vietnam Record Organization as the "Speaker invited by schools to give speeches on the topic of Life Personality Education with the most programs and in the shortest time".

This is the time for 12th graders to review for exams. Therefore, to encourage students to review well, the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School has organized extracurricular activities to help students have more confidence and motivation to nurture their dreams and aspirations. The school has also organized review, training, and tutoring for students outside of regular school hours. In addition, despite many difficulties, the school has mobilized support from businesses to purchase more fans and air conditioners to make it easier for students to review for exams. Photo: MH |
Coming from afar to the school, speaker Dao Ngoc Cuong was also very excited about this meeting because he and the students in the school seemed to have something in common as they all grew up in a poor countryside with a deprived childhood and days of eating cassava instead of rice.
The common sympathy also made the talk with the topic “Living, Dreaming and Aspiration” more meaningful. Through that, it inspired students about the story of living by knowing how to dream and putting faith in their choices.

And for them, whether they dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher, a law student, or a doctor or a student in the field of environmental resources, they all understand that dreams can only come true through hard work.
For that reason, the story and journey of overcoming difficulties of speaker Dao Ngoc Cuong seems to give strength to the students, helping them to have the determination and confidence to win the exam and the upcoming future...

For students of the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School, talks and meetings with speakers and examples of perseverance in overcoming difficulties have become quite familiar extracurricular activities. In this school year, in addition to speaker Dao Ngoc Cuong, students also had a chance to talk with speaker Lang Cong Dat on the topic "Journey to Conquer Dreams", with teacher Lang Thi Tam - a former student of the school - an excellent student and the one who inspired the project of teaching English to children in mountainous districts...
This activity is also a very meaningful practical lesson to guide students on the path of self-reliance and career development. From there, it helps them to be more conscious in studying, attached to school, class and build their own ambitions, dreams and aspirations.
Overcoming difficulties to affirm quality
This school year, the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School celebrates its 35th anniversary. Over the past three decades, thousands of generations of students have grown up from this school and created a source of quality cadres for the mountainous districts in the province. Many have now developed and held important positions in agencies and units.
In recent years, the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School has also undertaken a very special task, which is that in addition to the task of teaching cultural knowledge, the school also has the task of nurturing, caring for, and managing students who are boarding at the school. With the characteristic that over 90% of the students are children of ethnic minorities, including the O Du ethnic minority... this is an extremely difficult task.
