(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 4th, National Assembly delegates Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Central Committee of the Party - Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; and Pham Van Tan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation, continued their meeting with voters in Cua Lo Town.

Attending the meeting with voters were leaders from the Cua Lo Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Comrade Pham Van Tan reported on the basic contents and results of the 7th session of the 13th National Assembly. After more than a month of work, the National Assembly considered and passed 11 laws, 2 resolutions, and gave opinions on 16 draft laws; it also considered and gave opinions on a number of important issues related to the economic, cultural, social, and national defense and security development of the country.

The National Assembly issued a communiqué expressing its firm stance against China's illegal placement of the Haiyang 981 oil rig in Vietnam's continental shelf and exclusive economic zone, demanding that China withdraw the rig from Vietnam's sovereign waters.

Voters in Cua Lo town have expressed many opinions and aspirations to their National Assembly representatives. Issues such as medical ethics, health insurance, and pharmaceutical management have not improved significantly, and many regrettable consequences still persist. Foreign cultural influences that are incompatible with Vietnamese customs and traditions, violent and decadent cultural games, and negative practices remain unmanaged. Currently, there are many laws, but their quality is not guaranteed, and subordinate regulations often contradict them. Voters requested that the retirement age not be raised. A more decisive approach to combating corruption is needed. The quality of medical examination and treatment under health insurance is low and does not meet requirements, causing many inconveniences for the people. The town's clean water project, which has been stalled for nearly four years, has yet to be implemented. The situation of university graduates being unemployed, the low quality of university education, and the oversupply of training in many fields of study compared to societal needs, leading to waste and significant unemployment...
