The "weird" quality of Coach Van Sy

Yesterday afternoon, V.NB defeated HN.T&T right at Hang Day Stadium to enjoy the feeling of victory for the first time in V-League 2014. The way V.NB entered the game and won went against the experts' pre-match predictions because few people thought the away team would dare to "preemptively attack" the defending champion.

Before the match at Hang Day Stadium, V.NB had gone through the first 2 rounds without finding the feeling of victory (drawing with Dong Nai, losing to Than.QN) while HN.T&T had continuously "destroyed" B.BD and HA.GL. Therefore, many people believed that Coach Nguyen Van Sy would ask his team to enter the match with a defensive strategy when having to play away against the opponent with the most fearsome attack in the first 2 rounds of the season.

However, what the V.NB players showed after the opening whistle surprised everyone. With the attacking trio of Kavin - Patiyo - Van Ta, the away team did not hesitate to launch preemptive attacks on HN.T&T. And the "rebelliousness" of V.NB achieved maximum effectiveness when they scored 3 times against the home team at Hang Day Stadium in the first half. Coach Phan Thanh Hung of HN.T&T also admitted: "We entered the game slower than V.NB".

Obviously, the approach of the team from the ancient capital Hoa Lu made HN.T&T "offside" and when the defending champion needed a lot of time to "warm up", they had to pay a heavy price with the first loss on the journey to defend the V-League throne. As for V.NB, daring to "preemptively attack" HN.T&T when having to play away showed the "weird" nature of coach Van Sy because he is the one who understands better than anyone the ability of his students. Mr. Sy not only believes that his team is capable of defeating the opponent but also knows how to "breathe" that thought into every step, every pass of the V.NB players.

Playing explosively against HN.T&T to gain the first victory in V-League 2014, the belief in V.NB's ability to fly high on the rankings seems to have an ideal leverage.
