(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the afternoon session, the 13th meeting, term 2011 - 2016, the 16th Provincial People's Council conducted a question and answer session.

Comrades Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

Based on many information channels, the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee has selected issues in 3 sectors to question at this session, including Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs; Planning - Investment and Health.

In order for the question and answer session to be of high quality and effective, the Department Directors assigned to answer the questions should answer clearly, specifically, and accurately to the core of the issues and questions, in which they should correctly assess the current situation, the existing problems, shortcomings, limitations, causes, clearly state the responsibilities of the department, the governing sector and the Provincial People's Committee, and solutions in the coming time. For issues that the sector leaders did not answer clearly or are related to other areas, the Provincial People's Committee leaders should provide additional explanations. The Provincial People's Council delegates should ask questions that are short, concise, and focused on the issues that need to be questioned, within the authority of the person being questioned.

Next, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported the results of handling opinions and recommendations of voters and delegates of the Provincial People's Council; issues promised, accepted and recorded in the question and answer session at the 11th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVI (held in July 2014) and the results of handling recommendations of the monitoring delegations of the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council.

In the remaining time of the afternoon, the 13th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council also organized emulation and reward work. Authorized by the President and the Prime Minister, comrade Tran Hong Chau awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to 3 delegates of the Provincial People's Council, including comrades Nguyen Xuan Son - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Phan Van Tuyen - Vice Chairman of the Yen Thanh District People's Committee; and awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to 5 delegates of the Provincial People's Council who had many outstanding achievements from 2009 - 2014.

On behalf of the delegation, comrade Tran Hong Chau awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to three delegates of the Provincial People's Council.

During the 2 days of the meeting, through the hotline and the citizen reception department, the meeting received 14 citizen opinions with 17 opinions related to land, extra teaching and learning, traffic safety violations among students....
