4 year old boy in Nghe An drowned while bathing in the river
(Baonghean.vn) - Two 4-year-old children went down to the river below their house to bathe. One child was swept away by the current about 500m and died.
On the afternoon of June 1, the authorities of Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, said that a tragic drowning incident had just occurred in the area, causing the death of a 4-year-old child.

At around 2:30 p.m. the same day, two young children, Moong Chien Thang (born 2015) and Moong Van Dan (born 2015), both living in Binh Son 1 village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, went swimming together in a river near the village.
Because he couldn't swim, Moong Chien Thang was swept away by the current about 500 meters. When passersby discovered him and called for help, Thang had already died.
Thang is the son of Moong Van May and Lu Thi Da, whose family is poor and in extremely difficult circumstances. His parents have to work far away, so Moong Van Thang lives with his grandmother.
The People's Committee of Ky Son district and Ta Ca commune directly visited and expressed condolences to the victim's family, and initially provided 1.5 million VND to help the family with Thang's funeral.
