6 year old boy escapes death thanks to driver's steering wheel
(Baonghean.vn) - A 6-year-old boy suddenly ran across the street, forcing the bus driver to swerve. Luckily, the boy escaped death.

The incident occurred on an inter-commune road in Hamlet 8, Quynh Lien Commune, Quynh Luu District at around 11:00 a.m. on March 15.
A video clip taken from a camera at a local resident’s house on the side of the road shows a boy walking on the right side of the road when he suddenly ran across the road. At that moment, a Su Chuyen bus came by. The driver quickly turned the wheel but still hit the boy, causing him to fall onto the road.

When the bus stopped, the child got up and continued walking, suffering only minor injuries. The child was later identified as VXĐ. (6 years old). Mr. Vu Xuan Quyen, the child's father, said that Đ was on his way home after school and luckily the driver reacted quickly by turning the wheel to the left, avoiding an accident for the child.
Mr. Ho Duc Ha - manager of Su Chuyen bus said that he had received a report from driver Nguyen Van Tuan, who was driving the bus. At that time, the bus was traveling at 44km/h and with his experience and quickness, the driver saved the boy from death by a hair's breadth.
