(Baonghean.vn) - Being beaten by his father, a child in Quy Chau district (Nghe An) cycled dozens of kilometers to find his way to his grandparents' house in Quy Hop district, but because he did not know the way, he got lost.

On the morning of November 24, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Anh Dung - Head of Quy Hop District Police, said that the unit had just handed over Luong Thanh Tam to Mr. Vi Van Ban (residing in Na Noong hamlet, Chau Hong commune, Quy Hop), Tam's maternal grandfather.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on November 23, the patrol team of the Traffic Police Department of Quy Hop District discovered a child showing signs of panic and fear in the Quy Hop town area.

The patrol team took the child to the unit for care. After being encouraged, the child said his name was Luong Thanh Tam (born 2004), residing in Tong village, Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district. He said that at around 3:00 p.m. on November 23, because his father had beaten him, he took his bicycle to his grandparents' house in Na Noong hamlet, Chau Hong commune (Quy Hop).

When arriving at Quy Hop district, because he did not know the way, he got lost and went to the town area. After verifying, Quy Hop district police contacted the family and sent officers to take Tam to hand over to Chau Hong commune People's Committee and Mr. Vi Van Ban, the child's maternal grandfather.
