(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 7, a baby suspected of having cancer in Cha Luan village, Ngoc Lam commune (Thanh Chuong) - the character in the article“Auction of driftwood artwork to help child with cancer”posted on Nghe An Newspaper on August 29, 2017 was taken for medical examination by representatives of Thanh Chuong Charity Club and Ngoc Lam Commune Delegation.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, Lo Thi Minh Anh, the daughter of Lo Van Ngan and Lo Thi Thanh, is only 6 years old (born in 2011), but her body is quite abnormal, and everyone suspects that she has breast cancer. Her family's situation is extremely difficult (she is a poor household, having to earn a living from meal to meal); her father suffers from depression, her mother spends all day hoeing grass for hire; neither of her parents can speak Kinh, so they cannot afford to take her to see a doctor.

On the morning of September 7, representatives of Thanh Chuong Charity Club and Ngoc Lam Commune took her to Nghe An Oncology Hospital for examination. Here, the doctors concluded that she had bilateral breast hypertrophy.
A representative of Thanh Chuong Charity Club said that the child will soon be taken to Hanoi Endocrinology Hospital for more specific testing./.
