Farmers focus on spraying pesticides to kill yellow-backed locusts. |
According to forecasts, in the coming time, the weather will continue to be hot, sunny, alternating with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with scarce food (due to the spring crops having been harvested), creating favorable conditions for locusts to continue causing damage to sugarcane fields in the growing period and crops in the Summer-Autumn-Spring season. Therefore, people need to proactively spray pesticides in a timely manner and closely monitor the damage caused by locusts, to avoid spreading widely, contributing to minimizing damage to production.
