Apartment fire in Saigon, hundreds of residents flee
An empty apartment on the 8th floor of the Parc Spring apartment building (District 2) caught fire, causing hundreds of people to panic and run to the ground.

On the evening of April 1, smoke and fire billowed from an unoccupied apartment on the 8th floor of Block A, Parc Spring apartment building on Nguyen Duy Trinh Street (District 2). The fire alarm system went off repeatedly, causing hundreds of residents to panic. They led their relatives to flee down the stairs to escape.
District 2 Fire Police dispatched dozens of soldiers to the scene and extinguished the fire immediately. The fire is believed to have started from the mattress, burning items in the room.

Parc Spring Apartment was put into use in 2011, including three blocks. This place just had a fire drill yesterday.
