Household goods store on fire

(Baonghean.vn) -At approximately 3:30 PM this afternoon, January 9th, the Sang Huong household goods store at 116 Tran Phu Street, Hong Son Ward, Vinh City, caught fire, with thick smoke billowing from the 4th floor of the building.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started on the third floor of the building and spread to the fourth floor. The rapidly spreading blaze destroyed several items and many goods, including student desks and chairs, office equipment, and children's toys.

Many curious onlookers gathered to watch the fire, causing traffic congestion.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Department arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire. By 4 PM the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The initial cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit.

As soon as the fire broke out, police and civil defense forces were present to direct traffic, as many curious onlookers had gathered, causing localized traffic congestion on Tran Phu Street.
