Fire at used motorbike storage warehouse, hundreds of millions of dong in damage
The fire burned down more than 200 old motorbikes and many items in Dong Tien store. The total damage is estimated at over 200 million VND.
At around 10:30 a.m. on January 14, residents of Long Hung Hamlet, Phuoc Thanh Commune, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province discovered that the old motorbike warehouse of Dong Tien Store owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Dong was on fire from behind.

The owner of this facility and surrounding residents used urgent measures to put out the fire, but because rubber motorcycle tires are very flammable and spread quickly, the fire was ineffective.

Upon receiving the news of the fire, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Tien Giang Provincial Police) mobilized 4 specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.

The fire brigade worked hard and it took more than 30 minutes to put out the fire. Although it did not spread to the surrounding area, the fire burned down more than 200 old motorbikes and many items in Dong Tien store. The total damage was estimated at over 200 million VND.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by My Tho city authorities./.
