Big fire at wood drying kiln in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Fire and black smoke broke out at a wood drying kiln and spread to the next kiln, burning an area of about 20 square meters.

At around 9am on July 4, a fire broke out in the wood drying kiln area of Song Hieu Forestry Processing Enterprise in Hoa Hieu Ward (Thai Hoa Town). The fire started from a wood drying kiln, spread to other areas, and burned fiercely.

Upon receiving the news, Fire Police Team No. 3 (Thai Hoa Town Police), the Town Military Command and K12 warehouse unit mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers and 3 professional fire trucks to the scene to coordinate with local people to put out the fire.
The difficulty in approaching the fire was that the door of the wood drying kiln was too narrow, making it difficult to use a hose to spray water directly onto the burning wood. Therefore, the fire brigade mobilized an excavator and other vehicles to break down the kiln wall to put out the fire.
After more than 1 hour, the fire was extinguished.
Currently, authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and inventorying damaged property.
