Fire at 4-room wooden house caused over 200 million VND in damage
(Baonghean.vn) - The fire completely burned down the 4-room wooden house and many of Va Ba Tung's family's properties. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
According to witnesses, at around 8:30 p.m. on September 29, when seeing a fierce fire burning from the house of Mr. Va Ba Tung's family in Huoi Co village, Nhon Mai commune (Tuong Duong), people around shouted to each other to put out the fire.

After receiving the news, the Command of Nhon Mai Border Guard Station - Nghe An Border Guard mobilized officers and soldiers of the unit to coordinate with the Commune People's Committee and militia forces, Youth Union and people to participate in extinguishing the fire, but due towooden stilt house, in the house there was gasoline, oil and it was on a high hill so in just a moment the fire burned down the entire house and properties such as TV, motorbike... Estimated damage was over 200 million VND.

The initial cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit.
On the morning of September 30, representatives of the Nhon Mai Border Guard Station Command, commune leaders, and the Village Management Board visited, encouraged, and provided cash, rice, instant noodles, and clothes to help Mr. Tung's family stabilize their lives in the short term. At the same time, they called on local agencies, socio-political organizations, and all people to join hands to help Mr. Tung's family overcome the initial difficulties.
