House fire leaves one person dead.
(Baonghean.vn) -After the fire was extinguished, people rushed inside to check and found the homeowner's 23-year-old son had been burned to death inside the house.
At noon on August 25th, residents of Hamlet 10, Nam Trung Commune, Nam Dan District, discovered that the house of Mr. Nguyen Duy Hoan was on fire. Due to the sunny weather and the presence of flammable materials such as rice, corn, and straw inside the house, the flames rose rapidly and fiercely. People shouted to each other and used makeshift tools to try and put out the fire.
About 30 minutes later, the fire was brought under control, but the kitchen of the three-room house had been completely destroyed. When the fire was extinguished, people rushed into the house to check the belongings and found that Nguyen Duy Hoan (23 years old), Mr. Hoan's eldest son, had been burned to death.
At the time of the fire, Mr. and Mrs. Hoan were harvesting rice in the fields, leaving Mr. Hoan alone at home. Mr. Hoan, who has suffered from mental illness since childhood, most likely caused the fire himself and was unable to escape.
Mr. Hoan's family has four children and is classified as a poor household in the commune. The house that burned down included a kitchen, a storage room for rice, and a storage room for straw.
