It took 70 water trucks and ladder trucks, along with 540 officers and soldiers, and 300 local personnel to actively participate in extinguishing the fire.

Following the fire at Pou Yuen company (Tan Tao Industrial Park, Tan Tao Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City), the city's Fire Prevention and Control Department held a press conference to announce information and damages related to the fire.

Rescue forces are deploying to extinguish the fire.

Colonel Le Tan Buu, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Fire Department, said: At 4:40 AM, the department's hotline received an emergency fire report from Pou Yuen Company. Immediately, modern firefighting vehicles were dispatched to the scene. A total of 15 units participated in this fire.

It took more than four hours, 70 water trucks and ladder trucks, along with 540 officers and soldiers, and 300 local personnel actively participating, to extinguish the fire. By 8:40 AM, the fire was completely extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Mr. Le Tan Buu stated, "When the fire broke out, the local firefighting force took measures to extinguish the flames. However, they only reported it to the Fire Department when the fire had spread."

The fire completely destroyed approximately 4,000 square meters out of a total of 42,000 square meters on the 4th, 5th, and a corner of the 6th floor (blocks A4, A5, A6).

The fire originated on the 4th floor of block A4. Due to the presence of many flammable materials inside the warehouse, the flames spread rapidly, making firefighting efforts difficult.

Initial assessments suggest the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit.

Currently, authorities are continuing to cordon off the scene, investigate the exact cause of the fire, and assess the extent of property damage.
