Driving from Binh Duong to Nghe An for Tet, hit by a passenger bus
(Baonghean.vn) - A family of 5 drove a car from Binh Duong to Vinh City (Nghe An) to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2018, but when they were near the foot of Ben Thuy 2 bridge, they were hit by a passenger bus.
On the morning of February 12, on National Highway 8B (in Xuan An town, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh), an accident occurred between a passenger bus and a car, causing panic among passengers and severe damage to both vehicles.
At the time, the Hyundai Tucson car with license plate 61A-292.. was traveling from Binh Duong to Nghe An.

When approaching the foot of the National Highway 1A overpass, the bus with license plate 38B-004.90 of Phu Quy bus company was traveling in the same direction, hit the median strip and hit the left side of the car, causing severe damage to the car.
The accident damaged the median strip and both vehicles were severely damaged, causing traffic congestion. After the accident, the Nghi Xuan District Traffic Police arrived at the scene to divert traffic to avoid prolonged congestion and make a record of the accident scene, clarifying the accident and towing the two vehicles to clear the road.

Due to the severe damage to the bus, as of 11am on February 12, the rescue team had not yet been able to remove the bus from the scene to clear the road. Traffic police are working hard to direct traffic in the cold rain to avoid prolonged traffic congestion.
The cause of the accident is under further investigation.
