Processing plastic waste into diesel and gasoline.
For the first time in Vietnam, Vietnam Environment Corporation is using Vinabio Energy technology to process nylon waste into DO and PO oil at the Khanh Son Solid Waste Treatment Plant (Da Nang).

Waste brought into the factory is sorted using an automatic separation and filtration line; waste nylon is separated, cleaned, and then fed into the production line to produce PO oil. With a processing capacity of 200 tons of waste per day, every 3 tons of nylon produce 1 ton of oil, averaging 16.6 tons of PO oil per day. Currently, all of this oil is purchased by industrial factories in Da Nang and Quang Nam at a price 10-15% lower than the market price.
This technology not only minimizes landfill waste and reduces environmental pollution but also recovers and recycles non-biodegradable components in household waste to create energy products. Importantly, the plant requires only a very small amount of electricity (or oil) to start the production line, and then uses the oil and gas produced by the line as the energy source for its operation.
