Processing plastic waste into DO and PO oil
For the first time in Vietnam, Vietnam Environment Joint Stock Company used Vinabio Energy technology to process nylon waste into DO and PO oil at Khanh Son Solid Waste Treatment Plant (Da Nang).

Waste brought into the factory will be sorted by an automatic separation and filtering line; sorted into waste nylon, cleaned and put into the PO oil production line. With a processing capacity of 200 tons of waste/day, every 3 tons of nylon produces 1 ton of oil, on average the factory produces 16.6 tons of PO oil per day. Currently, all of this oil has been purchased by industrial factories in Da Nang and Quang Nam at a price 10-15% lower than the market price.
This technology not only minimizes landfill waste and environmental pollution, but also recovers and recycles non-biodegradable components in household waste to create energy products. In particular, the factory only needs a very small amount of electricity (or oil) to start the line, then uses the oil and gas generated by this line as an energy source to serve the factory's operations.
