According to research, Nga Bay town is the place with the most officials resigning. The town's leaders said that 35 commune and hamlet officials resigned. Of these, 19 were commune and ward officials and 16 were officials in hamlets and areas, notably 3 were non-professional Vice Chairmen of the commune.

In addition to Nga Bay town, Vi Thanh city, Phung Hiep district, Long My also has 22 non-professional Vice Chairmen of the Commune Front who have resigned due to economic reasons. In addition, some commune police officers and commune militia have also resigned because they only receive support of 700,000 VND/person/month.
