Chelsea spends 35 million pounds to buy Ox-Chamberlain
Chelsea have agreed a £35m deal to sign Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 24-year-old will undergo a medical at England's training camp and will join his new club after completing his European World Cup qualifying campaign.

Previously, Oxlade-Chamberlain had rejected an offer to extend his contract with Arsenal, which was due to expire in June 2018. Unable to convince the winger to continue his contract with the club, Arsenal were forced to sell him to Chelsea, who offered the highest price compared to other clubs.
Arsenal will receive £35 million in this deal and Ox-Chamberlain will sign a 5-year contract with the Premier League champions. He will undergo a medical at the England national team camp under the supervision of Chelsea's medical department. Thus, Ox-Chamberlain will be the latest Arsenal player to join the Stamford Bridge team since Ashley Cole 11 years ago.
Ox-Chamberlain is Chelsea's fifth new signing of the 2017 summer transfer window after Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Ruediger and Willy Caballero. In the near future, it is likely that The Blues will be able to welcome another central midfielder as negotiations to recruit Danny Drinkwater (Leicester) are progressing well.
As for Arsenal, after selling Ox-Chamberlain, they also confirmed that midfielder Shkodran Mustafi would join Inter Milan on loan with a £20 million buyout clause in the summer of 2018. Not only that, defender Kieran Gibbs will go to Watford in exchange for a £7 million transfer fee and striker Lucas Perez will also be allowed to return to Deportivo la Coruna for an undisclosed fee.
