Coach Conte and his team have achieved a very high level of stability since October 2016, and are alone at the top of the Premier League with a ten-point gap when there are 12 rounds left in the season.

Chelsea have played like champions since switching to a 3-4-3 formation on 1 October 2016, a week after their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal. At the end of September, the Blues were eighth, eight points behind leaders Manchester City.

But after the comprehensive defeat at the Emirates Stadium on September 24, Coach Conte still confidently declared: "I will find a solution for Chelsea". And he fulfilled his promise, after abandoning the tactical formation of four defenders to switch to a three-man defense with Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso making their mark in the role of full-backs.

Along with the surprising progress of this pair of defenders, Chelsea also saw Eden Hazard and Diego Costa excel again like in their championship winning season (2014-15). Those positive changes helped Chelsea go through a period of strong impression with a series of 13 consecutive victories, scoring 32 goals and conceding only 4 goals.

After 26 rounds, the team at Stamford Bridge is at the top of the table with 10 points more than the second team Tottenham. Coach Conte may soon win the Premier League title in his debut season, in the match at Man Utd's stadium on April 15, if Chelsea maintains a good record in the upcoming rounds.

If Chelsea win their next six games, they will consolidate their lead at the top of the table on 81 points, which would put them 18 points clear with six games remaining in the Premier League, and therefore be enough to clinch the title at Old Trafford in Round 33 if they do not lose that game.

Ahead of what promises to be an exciting clash in mid-April, Chelsea will welcome Man Utd to Stamford Bridge for the FA Cup quarter-finals on March 13.
