When will Chelsea be awarded the Premier League Cup and who will receive it?
Antonio Conte and his team had enough points to win the championship from round 36, but had to wait until the final round at home on May 21 to hold the coronation ceremony.
Antonio Conte's side secured the title this season after their victory over West Brom last Friday night. Their success was further enhanced last night (May 15) with a 4-3 win over Watford.
It was not until the season finale on May 21 that Chelsea players officially welcomed the Cup and received their medals. This was the sixth time Chelsea won the English football championship, and the fifth time in the Premier League era (since the 1992-93 season).

The trophy will be in Chelsea's hands next Sunday, when they play their final match of the season. |
The Premier League will present the award to Chelsea in front of the Stamford Bridge crowd after their match against Sunderland.
Chelsea also played at home last night against Watford. But normally the Champions League ceremony is scheduled as late as possible, to avoid the worst-case scenario of the champions being deducted points before the end of the season for some reason.

Which Chelsea players will receive championship medals?Members who meet the requirement of making at least five Premier League appearances this season will be awarded a medal. This is bad news for goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, who has been in Chelsea's Premier League squad this season but has only made one appearance due to the fitness of number one goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Two other youngsters were also left out of the medal list. Defender Nathan Ake has played 11 Premier League games this season, but 10 of those have been on loan at Bournemouth. Ola Aina has made just two substitute appearances.
Oscar, meanwhile, will still get a medal despite the Brazilian midfielder joining Shanghai SIPG in January. He made nine Premier League appearances for the Stamford Bridge club this season before joining the Chinese Super League club.

Who will be the first to receive and lift the Cup?John Terry is still Chelsea captain. Sunday's match will be his last for the club. Many Chelsea fans will probably want to see the veteran defender have the honor of being the first member to lift the trophy before saying goodbye. But Terry has only made seven Premier League appearances this season. So he may have to leave that honor to Gary Cahill, the defender who regularly wore the armband during the 2016-2017 campaign.
According to Goal, there is also a possibility that these two players will stand next to each other to receive the Cup from the Organizing Committee before it is the turn of other teammates. Terry also recently revealed that he will lift the Cup with Cahill after the final match. However, that depends on coach Antonio Conte. Because last season, coach Claudio Ranieri and captain Wes Morgan of Leicester City each received the Cup from the Organizing Committee.
