Slashed girlfriend's father because he was forbidden to date
Police are detaining suspect Hoang Van Hieu for slashing his girlfriend's father because he was forbidden from dating.
On the afternoon of March 23, Bac Giang Provincial Police said that at around 6:45 p.m. on March 22, the police received information that Mr. LVH (born in 1982, in Dong Son commune, Yen The district) was injured by Hoang Van Hieu (born in 1996, in Dong Son commune) with a machete.
Providing more information to reporters about the incident, the leader of Dong Son Commune People's Committee added that the victim was taken to the emergency room, and the injuries were not too serious. As for the suspect Hieu, he also went to the police station to surrender.

This leader added that the initial reason was believed to be that Mr. H. prevented Hieu from having a relationship with his daughter born in 2006.
It is known that suspect Hieu is a freelancer, married and has a young child but his marital status is unknown.
The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
