2 Chinese children die after crowding in school toilet
On the morning of March 22, a stampede at a Chinese elementary school left two children dead and 20 others injured.
According to Xinhua News Agency, students at Experimental Elementary School No. 3 in Puyang (Henan Province) jostled each other in the restroom on the morning of March 22. This area is usually crowded, many students pushed and shoved outside to get inside, causing 2 children to die and 20 others to be injured.
Another report said the toilet wall collapsed due to the pressure of the push. However, on social media, one parent claimed that it was the toilet collapsing that caused the students to panic.
