In the new generation, the exterior of the Colorado LTX is equipped with an additional protective bumper at the front of the vehicle made of high-strength steel pipe painted in glossy black to help protect in the event of a collision.
Apart from the addition of a protective bumper, the design of the Colorado LTX is not much different from its predecessor. It still carries the company's signature language with a radiator grille consisting of horizontal bars and large air intakes, headlights that automatically light up at each angle, and fog lights located deep in the air intake surrounded by a pure black plastic border.

The alloy wheels are 6-spoke inward, the side of the truck bed is also added with protective bumpers. In particular, the rearview mirror has integrated turn signals and a camera to help observe when parking.
The interior stands out with a black space that is consistent with the paint color on the front bumper of the car, leather seats with integrated electric power, multi-spoke sports steering wheel, entertainment touch screen in the middle, independent air conditioning, USB slot/SD memory card, phone charger...
Under the hood is a 2.8-liter Duramax 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine with 500 Nm of torque, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado LTX can carry up to 1 ton of cargo and wade through waters up to 800 mm deep. Unlike the LTZ, the LTX is only available in a 4×2 version.
