With the new engine, the Spark Duo also has significantly more power, reaching 80 horsepower and a maximum torque of 108 Nm. However, the Spark Duo still only has one 5-speed manual transmission option.

The chassis is more solid thanks to reinforced steel plates and reinforcing bars in the door frames and underbody, forming a protective cage around the driver and passengers. The car is equipped with electric rearview mirrors and an anti-theft system.
