Only 4 clubs are eligible for a license to participate in V-League 2024/2025
At the meeting to consider licensing clubs to participate in the National Championship (V-League) season 2024/2025, the VFF Licensing Board agreed to license 4 clubs Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, Song Lam Nghe An and SHB Da Nang to participate in V-League 2024/2025.
Meanwhile, 3 clubs including Nam Dinh, PVF-Cong An Nhan Dan, Cong An Ha Noi, Ha Noi FC, The Cong Viettel, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Quang Nam and LP Bank Hoang Anh Gia Lai are only granted conditional licenses.
In addition, the Board also granted conditional licenses with penalties to four clubs: Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Binh Dinh and Binh Phuoc. Of which, the two clubs, Hai Phong and Binh Dinh, must submit documents proving that they meet the financial criteria (F.04) by July 15 at the latest. Any club that fails to complete its application by the deadline will have its license revoked by the licensing board.

Khanh Hoa Club is the only team not licensed to participate in V-League 2024/2025 due to not meeting the Class A criteria on finance and facilities.
