(Baonghean)On August 22, 2013, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai signed Official Document 5900/UBND-VX. The content of the document is as follows:

To effectively implement activities for children during the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2013, and to promote "Equal development opportunities for poor children and children from ethnic minorities" during the Month of Action for Children, the Provincial People's Committee assigns the following tasks to provincial departments, agencies, and mass organizations, as well as the People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns:

1.Provide financial support.and facilities to ensure all children can celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in the community in a joyful, safe, healthy, and friendly manner; guiding and educating children to preserve national cultural identity, participate in cultural activities and traditional games; and fostering creativity, safety, and health.

2.Visiting and giving gifts to poor children.To encourage children from ethnic minorities, children with special circumstances, and children in remote and disadvantaged areas to start the new school year with efforts to overcome difficulties; and to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with children in the community.

3.Organizing Mid-Autumn Festival activitiesPractical and economical, these activities attract children to participate in fun and recreational activities such as camping, making traditional toys, folk games, and sports competitions, contributing to the harmonious development of children's physical, intellectual, moral, and spiritual well-being.

4.Department of Health, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, People's Committees of districts, cities and townsStrengthen inspections and checks on food hygiene and safety, inspect food production, processing, and trading establishments, especially those selling food for the Mid-Autumn Festival; take measures to prevent and promptly handle the trading of cultural products, toys, and games that are harmful, violent, provocative, or inappropriate for children.

5. Department of Information and Communications, People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns:

Direct local media agencies to strengthen communication on the care, education, and protection of children; commend exemplary individuals and good deeds for children; and criticize and condemn acts that violate children's rights.

6. The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs provides guidance on organizing activities.

The 2013 Mid-Autumn Festival in the province was organized in a detailed plan in coordination with the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district to direct the organization of the 2013 Mid-Autumn Festival; and the results of the Mid-Autumn Festival activities were compiled and reported to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs as required.

The units are required to perform the above tasks effectively.
