Only wear mourning bands, no wreaths to pay respects to President Tran Dai Quang
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that delegations visiting President Tran Dai Quang only wear mourning bands and not wreaths.

On September 24, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Official Dispatch No. 4288/CD-BVHTTDL to the Heads of Central Committees, Ministries, Branches and Organizations; Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities regarding the suspension of entertainment activities during the days of National Mourning for President Tran Dai Quang.
Pursuant to Decree No. 105/2012/ND-CP dated December 17, 2012 of the Government on organizing funerals for officials, civil servants and public employees, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that agencies and offices nationwide and Vietnamese representative agencies abroad fly flags at half-mast during the two days of National Mourning (September 26-27).Delegations come to pay their respects at the locations of the funeral and memorial services: National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi (where the coffin lies in state); Thong Nhat Hall, Ho Chi Minh City; Kim Son District People's Committee Hall, Ninh Binh Province. Delegations only bring mourning bands, not wreaths.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that Central Committees, Ministries, branches, organizations, State administrative and public service agencies stop or postpone the organization of welcoming events, art programs, sports competitions and other entertainment activities as planned for two days (September 26-27).
