In the Chinese market, BAIC X65 is also known as Senova X65. This model uses Saab's technology and chassis and was first introduced by BAIC at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2014.

BAIC X65 has dimensions of length, width, and height (4,654 x 1,816 x 1,680) mm, with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm. These parameters are slightly better than competitors Honda CR-V or Mazda CX-5.

The front has a strong and decisive design, but the radiator grille has a weak shape and is not sharp. The car has 17-inch alloy wheels with standard Michelin tires 225/60 R17, quite small compared to the CX-5 or CR-V. Meanwhile, the rear of the BAIC X65 has a more beautiful design with modern LED lights and dual exhaust pipes on both sides.

Thanks to its large size, the BAIC X65 has a relatively spacious space, with customers having two color options including black and beige. Sporty accents are shown in the 3-spoke steering wheel design, tube-shaped instrument cluster, paddle shifters under the steering wheel, sports seats and silver decorative strips.

BAIC X65 is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, up to 930 mm long, 630 mm wide, providing an airy space for those sitting in the car. In addition, the car also has a 6-way electric driver's seat, a fairly complete safety system with 7 airbags, ABS/EBD braking system, ESP electronic balance, tire pressure sensor, 360 panoramic rear camera, reverse sensor.

Currently, BAIC X65 is imported and distributed in Vietnam by some private car dealers with a selling price of about 598 million VND.
