Details of violations of 13 projects revoked and canceled by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - The main violations in the revoked and canceled projects are violations of the Land Law, Mineral Law, Investment Law, misuse of project purposes and failure to implement them in practice.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has issued Decision No. 5823/QD.UBND to terminate operations, revoke investment certificates, reclaim land and cancel legal documents related to 13 projects. The main violations in these projects are violations of the Land Law, Mineral Law, Investment Law, misuse of project purposes and failure to implement in practice.

Specifically, the reasons why 13 projects were revoked and canceled:

1. Eco-tourism and resort service area in Quynh Bang commune, Quynh Luu district (Investor: Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company),The planning was approved in August 2006, the extension period expired, but in reality it has not been implemented, violating the Land Law.

2. Parking lot and mechanical repair workshop in Hung Dong commune, Vinh city (investor: Petrolimex Nghe Tinh Transport and Service Joint Stock Company),Approved detailed planning from September 2011, leased land from May 2012, expired extension, delayed progress but not yet implemented in the field, violating the Land Law.

3. Forestry products processing and trading workshop in Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city (Investor: Hai Linh Private Enterprise),Approved detailed planning from June 2009, the extension period expired but construction was not implemented, violating the Land Law.

4. Central Vietnam Private Tourism College and quality hotel and motel service area, in wards: Nghi Huong, Nghi Hoa, Cua Lo town, (Investor: Phuong Hong Joint Stock Company),Planning approved since July 2004, in reality the construction works were not used for the right purpose, the hotel area was not built, violating the Land Law.

5. Exploiting stone quarry in Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district (Investor: Kim Viet Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company),There was a decision to grant licenses, lease and hand over land and mines from June 9, 2011, but in reality it has not been implemented, violating the Law on Minerals, the Law on Land, and the Law on Investment.

6. Exploiting stone quarries in Tan Xuan and Giai Xuan communes, Tan Ky district (Investor: Tin Hoang Minerals Company Limited),There was a decision to grant a license and lease land from November 14, 2011, but it has not been implemented in the field, violating the Law on Minerals, the Law on Land, and the Law on Investment.

7. Residential area in Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city (Investor: Tien Thanh Company Limited),The project has been leased land since May 2009, changed land use purpose since July 2013, approved planning since October 2013, and has now expired the project implementation period according to the investment certificate but has not been constructed, violating the Investment Law and Land Law.

8. Nhan Tam Social Protection Facility in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City (Investor of Nhan Tam Social Protection Facility),The project was approved for detailed planning in September 2009, and the land was leased in June 2010. The extension period has now expired but construction has not begun, violating the Land Law.

9. Investing and developing Lung trees to create raw material areas to serve the development of export rattan and bamboo weaving villages in Que Phong and Quy Chau districts (Investor: Duc Phong Company Limited),The project was granted an investment certificate in October 2010, and the planning of the raw material area was approved in August 2010. The extension period has now expired but it has not been implemented, violating the Investment Law.

10. Facility for production of purified water, clean water, domestic water and general commercial services in Quynh Di commune, Hoang Mai town, (Investor Mr. Nguyen Khanh), approved the planning from June 25, 2013, until now the time has expired but has not been implemented, violating the Investment Law.

11. CaCO3 white stone powder processing factory, at Nghia Long Industrial Park, Nghia Long Commune, Nghia Dan District, (Investor: DMC Petroleum Chemicals Joint Stock Company), the decision to approve the investment policy from December 28, 2015, the project has reached the end of the construction progress but has not been implemented, violating the Investment Law.

12. Exploitation of common construction stone quarries in Nghia Loi and Nghia Tho communes, Nghia Dan district (Investor: Dong Bac Nghia Dan Joint Stock Company),The project was licensed for exploration in November 2011 and approved for reserves in May 2012, but mining procedures have not been completed and have not been implemented in the field. The investor has sent a document requesting to terminate the project.

13. Manganese ore mining in Yen Cu area in Hung Lam commune, Hung Nguyen district (Investor: Bac Son Company Limited), the project has stopped mining, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the mine closure project.
