Fake Journalist Card 'Key' to Beg Forgiveness for Traffic Violations

On the afternoon of May 19, Force 141 and Traffic Police, while on duty, discovered many cases of impersonating reporters and editors of a press agency to ask for forgiveness for traffic violations.

Previously, on May 18, the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 15 - Road and Railway Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police discovered a young man driving a motorbike on the road with signs of violating the Traffic Law and stopped the vehicle for inspection.

During the inspection, the young man presented a card with the title "Editor's Card" of V... Newspaper, with the title of Deputy Editor-in-Chief. This person is Tran Van Lich (born in 1971, residing in Soc Son district, Hanoi). After verification, the traffic police determined that the card was fake and transferred it to the local police agency to investigate and clarify the matter.

Previously, on May 14, working group Y1/141 was on duty at the Hai Ba Trung - Phan Chu Trinh intersection, when they discovered Ms. Le Thi Kim Lan (born in 1974, living at 20 Hang Ga Street - Hanoi) not wearing a helmet while riding a motorbike and stopped the vehicle for inspection. Ms. Lan said she was working at V. newspaper and presented her "Editor" card.

It is worth mentioning that the stamp on the card is from an investment and media joint stock company... Suspecting that the card was fake, the working group handed it over to Phan Chu Trinh Police Station, Hoan Kiem District for handling. After nearly 1 hour, the person who signed the card, Ms. Tran Thuc Anh, appeared at Phan Chu Trinh Police Station. Ms. Tran Thuc Anh introduced herself as the General Director of an investment and media joint stock company, and admitted that the card Ms. Le Thi Kim Lan presented was printed by the company itself.

Through investigation, all of these cards are fake cards, the case is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
