A Mazda CX5, worth over 1 billion VND with Hai Duong license plate, was abandoned in Hanoi for 6 months. Its owner also mysteriously disappeared.

Early last June, a citizen posted information about finding the owner of a Mazda CX5 that had been abandoned for too long on the otoFun forum.

Found important clues

Facebook user Van Manh Nguyen posted: "The owner of the car, or a relative of the owner of the CX5 (photo below) for some unknown reason, has parked the car in Dai Kim ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi for nearly a year and has not been seen moving."

Mr. Cuong's car was abandoned in Hanoi and was posted on social media by people looking for its owner.

Information about the car was quickly received by Hai Duong authorities. This property belongs to Mr. Duong Cong Cuong (born in 1974), residing in Cuoi Street, Gia Loc Town, Gia Loc District, Hai Duong Province.

At the time the car was found, Mr. Cuong was no longer in the area. On November 28, 2020, his family submitted a petition to the authorities to find the missing person.

According to Mr. Cuong's family, in early June 2021, after finding the car, Hai Duong police came to the house to report the news and took the spare key away to serve the investigation.

According to the reporter's source, when opening the vehicle door, the police noticed that the car was being pushed around, cleaned, and had signs of being tampered with.erase evidence.

Police believe this is an important factor for authorities to find clues about Mr. Cuong's disappearance.

Suspecting signs of crime, on June 13, Hai Duong Provincial Police issued a notice to find the person and requested professional units to focus on the investigation.

The hypothesis that Mr. Cuong was killed due to some kind of relationship has also been raised. The good criminal detectives of Hai Duong Provincial Police, the Cyber ​​Security and High Technology Department… focused on finding traces of the missing person, starting from the found car.

After finding the car, the police went to investigate the last place Mr. Cuong went to collect the debt.

7 month old father submits application

Mr. Duong Cong H., 75 years old, (Mr. Cuong's father) said that since his son did not return, he and his youngest daughter continuously sent petitions to the authorities to help find him.

The local police have also invited the family many times to provide information about the missing person. However, Mr. Cuong is still "missing" along with the car and many of his belongings.

For many days now, social media has been posting information and locals have been buzzing about a murder at the house that was rented by a person who owed Mr. Cuong money. Mr. H.’s family is very confused. Locals say Mr. Cuong was killed by a debtor.

Sharing with reporters, Mr. H. said that for the past 7 months, his only son has not returned home. His whole family feels like life has come to a standstill. Stuck, confused, and miserable, the only hope for his family is the petitions sent to the authorities.

“We have great faith in the investigation agency. Now, my family is waiting for official news about my son and has not heard any rumors from outside. If my son is still alive, then I am truly happy beyond measure. If he does not return and is harmed by someone, I hope that the law will punish him severely,” Mr. H. said, then burst into tears.
