(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 1 month of construction, the giant grotto welcoming Christmas 2022 in Ke Gai Parish, Hung Tay Commune (Hung Nguyen) has been completed. The project is an attractive destination for tourists from near and far during the 2022 Christmas season.

Continuing the tradition of making large nativity scenes, this Christmas, Ke Gai Parish designed a unique nativity scene that is no less than previous years. This nativity scene is located right in front of the main gate to Ke Gai Parish Church. Photo: Huy Thu

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhien - the person who came up with the idea and directed the construction of the project said: This cave is made from more than 1,000 bamboo trees, 7,000 cement bags and many light bulbs and LED wires. The cave is 67m long, 15m high and 10m wide. Photo: Huy Thu

Compared to the 2020 cave of Ke Gai Parish, this year's cave is smaller, but no less attractive. The cave is designed with many spaces simulating the birth of the baby Jesus with diverse shapes, architecture, and landscapes. The lighting system and color scheme are also carefully installed, making the project quite prominent at night. Photo: Huy Thu

The Christmas nativity scene in Ke Gai Parish this year does not have many floors, paths up and down, and in and out like the nativity scene in previous years, but it is quite lively, with the miniatures all focused on the front of the cave.
