ROAD TO THE FINAL
In the final round, defending champion U11 SLNA started an impressive series of matches with a 3-1 victory over U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong, the runner-up team of last season. In the second round of the group stage, U11 SLNA won 5-1 against U11 Tuyen Quang, thereby securing a ticket to the quarter-finals one round early. In the match that was only a formality with Binh Duong, U11 SLNA drew 1-1.
In the quarter-final match, U11 SLNA did not encounter many difficulties when winning 3-0 against U11 Phu Dong Ha Noi with a hat-trick by player Le Nhat Anh. Thereby, U11 SLNA won the right to play in the semi-final match of the 2018 National U11 Tournament against U11 Dak Lak.
In the semi-finals, against an opponent rated lower, U11 SLNA continued to assert their superior strength. This time, Vuong Van Tung's hat-trick helped the young team from Nghe An defeat the opponent 3-0, confidently entering the final match against U11 Hung Yen.
