Of these, there are 6 cases in Yen Thanh district, 1 case in Ky Son district and 1 case in Do Luong.
Newly recorded cases include:
1. Patient TTT, male, born in 1987. Address: Hung Thanh, Yen Thanh.The patient returned from Ho Chi Minh City on August 2. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Hung Thanh Kindergarten. The patient was tested on August 3, 5, and 8, all with negative results. On August 12, the patient was tested for the fourth time and sent to the CDC. On the morning of August 13, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
2. Patient NTL, female, born in 1994. Address: Hung Thanh, Yen Thanh.The patient returned from Ho Chi Minh City on August 2. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Hung Thanh Kindergarten. The patient was tested on August 3, 5, and 8, all with negative results. On August 12, the patient was tested for the fourth time and sent to the CDC. On the morning of August 3, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
3. Patient LVT, male, born in 1994. Address: Hong Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient returned from Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City on August 2. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Hong Thanh Kindergarten. The patient was tested on August 3, 5, and 9, all with negative results. On August 12, the patient was tested for the fourth time and sent to CDC, and on the morning of August 13, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
4. Patient LTM, male, born in 2020. Address: Hong Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient returned from Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City on August 2. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Hong Thanh Kindergarten. The patient was tested on August 3, 5, and 9, all with negative results. On August 12, the patient was tested for the fourth time and sent to CDC, and on the morning of August 13, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
5. Patient VYM, female, born in 1992. Address: Muong Long, Ky Son.On July 26, the patient returned from Bau Bang, Binh Duong to Ky Son district on July 30. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Muong Long 1 Primary School. The patient's samples were taken on July 30, August 3, and August 11, all of which were negative. On August 12, the patient's fourth sample was taken, which confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
6. Patient PVH, male, born in 1983. Address: Nhan Thanh, Yen Thanh. On July 8, the patient traveled from China by ship to Ho Chi Minh City on July 12. From July 12 to 17, he did not come into contact with anyone on the ship. From July 18 to August 3, the patient was quarantined at the dormitory of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education with three negative test results. At 9:00 a.m. on August 3, the patient took a car from New Smile Trading Joint Stock Company from Ho Chi Minh City to Nghe An and came into contact with many people on the car. On August 4, when arriving at the Ben Thuy - Vinh bridge checkpoint, he made a medical declaration and was taken by a provincial car with 6 people to Phan Dang Luu Secondary School at 6:00 p.m. the same day. He then rode his motorbike to the Medical Station to declare and was instructed to quarantine at home. From August 4 to 9, he stayed at home and did not come into contact with anyone. From August 10 to 11, the patient traveled to many places and came into contact with many people. On August 10, the patient's first sample was taken and the result was suspicious. On August 12, the patient's second sample was taken and sent to the CDC. On the afternoon of August 13, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
7. Patient NSH, male, born in 1995. Address: Bac Thanh, Yen Thanh.The patient returned to Yen Thanh district from Bien Hoa, Dong Nai on August 3. On August 3, immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Bac Thanh Kindergarten. The patient's samples were taken on August 4 and August 9, both of which were negative. On August 12, the patient's third sample was sent to the CDC, and on the afternoon of August 13, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
8. Patient NVĐ, male, born in 1997. Address: Dao My, Nhan Son, Do Luong.The patient returned from An Binh, Thu Duc City, Binh Duong on August 6, and is F1 of the previously announced patient D.VT. The patient was tested twice on August 6 and August 9, both with negative results. On August 12, a third sample was taken and sent to CDC, and on the afternoon of August 13, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
