On the afternoon of August 20, Nghe An had 26 more people infected with Covid-19, 16 cases were quarantined.

On the afternoon of August 20, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of CDC Nghe An said that in the past 12 hours (from 06:00 to 18:00 on August 20), Nghe An recorded 26 new positive cases of COVID-19. Of these, there were 10 community cases, 16 cases that had been previously quarantined.
Specifically, the cases include:
1. LVĐ., male, born in 2002,Address: Hoa Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient is a student of Vietnam - Korea College who returned to Yen Thanh district on August 16. On August 19, he was quarantined at Hoa Thanh Primary School and had samples taken for testing and sent to CDC. On the morning of August 20, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
2. PCĐ., male, born in 2002, address: Nam Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient is a student of Vietnam - Korea College who returned to Yen Thanh district on August 16. On August 19, he was quarantined at Nam Thanh Primary School and had samples taken for testing and sent to CDC. On the morning of August 20, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
3. VVT, male, born in 2003.Occupation: Electrician. Address: Nghi Long, Nghi Loc. On the morning of August 20, the patient had symptoms of fever and fatigue and went to Nghi Loc Medical Center for a rapid test with a positive result. Immediately after that, the patient was isolated and had a sample sent to the CDC. On the afternoon of August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
4. HQQ, male, born in 1984. Occupation: Mobile sales. Address: Trung Phuc Cuong, Nam Dan. Permanent address: Hung Chinh, Vinh City. On August 6, the patient had a fever and fatigue and self-medicated but did not get better. On August 19, the patient went to Cua Dong General Hospital for testing. On August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
5. LTV, female, born in 1991.Occupation: Salesperson of Books and School Equipment Company. Address: Le Loi, Vinh City. On August 10, the patient took his child to Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Internal Medicine Clinic 5 and departments/rooms: ENT, Paraclinical, X-ray. On August 19, the patient had a cough and felt tired. The patient went to Thai Thuong Hoang Hospital for a rapid test twice and the results were positive. A sample was then taken and sent to CDC. On August 20, the patient was re-tested and the results were confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
6. NTP, female, born in 1973. Occupation: Wholesale market trader. Address: Hong Son, Vinh City. The patient sells goods at the wholesale market every day. On August 14, a community sample was taken at the wholesale market and the result was negative. On August 19, the patient went to Cua Dong General Hospital to take a pooled sample for testing and the result was suspicious. On August 20,8 patients had their samples taken for retesting and the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
7. TTD, female, born in 1998. Occupation: Employee of Hoa Dao watch store. Permanent address: Hong Son, Vinh City. The patient is a sales employee of Hoa Dao watch store on Cao Xuan Huy street. On August 20, the patient appeared tired, had a fever, and cough and went to Vinh City General Hospital for examination. Here, the patient was tested twice and tested positive. A sample was then sent to the CDC for confirmation of positive results for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
8.NHH, male, born in 1985. Occupation: Freelance worker. Address: Boi Son, Do Luong. The patient is F1 of the previously announced NKH patient. On August 18, the patient was quarantined at Boi Son Kindergarten, and on August 19, a sample was taken and sent to the CDC. On the morning of August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at My Ly Secondary School. Samples were taken for testing 4 times, the 4th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
10. LVL, male, born in 1989Address: Xuan Hoa, Nam Dan. The patient is F1 of patient NTK. On August 17, the patient was quarantined at Xuan Hoa Primary School and had a sample taken for testing. On August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
11. PTĐ, female, born in 1968.Occupation: Selling porridge. Address: Hong Son, Vinh City. The patient is F1 of the NTP patient announced at the same time. On August 19, the patient's sample was taken and sent to CDC, on August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
12. TKH, female, born in 2017. Address: Truong Thi, Vinh City. The patient is the child and F1 of the previously announced patient LTTT and patient TMN. On August 14, the patient was quarantined at Quyet Thanh Hotel and samples were taken on August 14 and August 17, both of which were negative. On August 19, the patient's third sample was sent to the CDC, and on August 20, the results were confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
13. Tr.TTA, female, born in 2013.Address: Truong Thi, Vinh City. The patient is the child and F1 of patient LTTT, patient Tr.MN who were previously announced. On August 14, the patient was quarantined at Quyet Thanh hotel and samples were taken on August 14 and August 17, both of which were negative. On August 19, the patient's third sample was sent to CDC, and on August 20, the results were confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
14. LTH, female, born in 1979. Occupation: Selling pork leg at Quang Trung market. Address: Vinh Tan, Vinh City. The patient is F1 of the previously announced NTN. On August 19, the patient was tested rapidly at Vinh City General Hospital with a positive result. Immediately afterwards, the patient was transferred to quarantine at the Tropical Diseases Department of Vinh City General Hospital and had samples taken and sent to CDC, on August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
15. VTV, born in 1976.Occupation: Quang Trung Market Vendor. Address: Vinh Tan, Vinh City. On August 19, the patient had a fever of 38 degrees, sore throat, cough with phlegm, fatigue, and a rapid screening test at Vinh City General Hospital with a positive result. Immediately after that, the patient was transferred to the Tropical Diseases Department of Vinh City General Hospital for isolation and samples were sent to the CDC. On August 20, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
16. TTO, female, born in 1994. Address: Tan Huong, Tan Ky. The patient returned to Tan Ky district from Ho Chi Minh City on August 13. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tan Huong Kindergarten, Tan Ky. On August 15, the patient was sampled for testing with negative results. On August 19, the patient was sampled for a second time and sent to CDC. On the morning of August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
17. N. D. H., male, born in 1990. Address: Tan Huong, Tan Ky. The patient returned to Tan Ky district from Ho Chi Minh City on August 16. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tan Huong Kindergarten, Tan Ky. On August 17, the patient's sample was taken for testing with a suspicious result. On August 19, the patient's second sample was taken for testing and sent to CDC. On the morning of August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
18. NVS, male, born in 1986Address: Quynh Chau, Quynh Luu. On August 17, the patient returned from Ho Chi Minh City to Quynh Luu. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Quynh Chau Primary School and had a sample taken for testing. On August 18, the result was suspicious. On August 19, the patient had a second sample taken. On the morning of August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
19. NVN, male, born in 1993Address: Quynh Chau, Quynh Luu. On August 17, the patient returned from Ho Chi Minh City to Quynh Luu. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Quynh Chau Primary School and had a sample taken for testing. On August 18, the result was suspicious. On August 19, the patient had a second sample taken. On the morning of August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
20. LTT, female, born in 1993Address: Tri Le, Que Phong. On July 25, the patient returned from Hanoi to Que Phong and was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School. Samples were taken 5 times, the 5th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
21. LBC, male, born in 2000Address: Tri Le, Que Phong. On July 30, the patient returned to Que Phong from Dong Nai, was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School and tested 5 times, the 5th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
22. XBM, male, born in 2000Address: Tri Le, Que Phong, On July 30, the patient returned to Que Phong from Dong Nai, was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School and had samples taken 5 times, the 5th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
23. VYA, female, born in 2004.Address: Tri Le, Que Phong. On July 30, the patient returned from Dong Nai to Que Phong, was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School and had samples taken 5 times, the 5th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

25. VBT, male, born in 1997.Address: Tri Le, Que Phong. On July 27, the patient returned to Que Phong from Binh Phuoc and was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School. Samples were taken 5 times, the 5th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
26. LVĐ, male, born in 1990.Address: Tri Le, Que Phong. The patient is F1 of the previously announced patient LTL. On August 7, the patient traveled from Hanoi to Que Phong, was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding Secondary School and had samples taken 3 times, the third time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Thus, today, Nghe An province recorded 60 Covid-19 cases, 1 case less than the record number of August 19.
