On the afternoon of June 29th, Nghe An province detected 10 more cases of Covid-19 infection.

On the evening of June 29th, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control, reported that from 7 AM to 7 PM on June 29th, Nghe An province detected 10 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of patients announced that day to 14.

second new casePatient NXC is male, born in 1954, retired, residing at Kim Dong Street, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City. Patient NXC is the husband of patient NTT, who was previously announced. Patient NXC was quarantined at Huu Nghi Hotel on June 21st and had his first and second samples taken with negative results; his third sample taken on June 28th tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Third new casePatient NTA, female, born in 2018, residing at Kim Dong Street, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City. Patient NTA is the daughter of patient TTD, who was previously announced. Patient NTA was placed in centralized quarantine at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital on June 21st and tested negative in the first and second tests; the third test on June 28th came back positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Fourth new casePatient NTBT is female, born in 2020, residing at Kim Dong Street, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City. Patient NTBT is the daughter of patient TTD, who was previously announced. Patient NTA was placed in centralized quarantine at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital on June 21st and tested negative on the first and second tests; a third test on June 28th came back positive for SARS-CoV-2.

fifth new caseThe patient is N.D.H, male, born in 1980, a civil servant, residing at Kim Thi Apartment Building, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City. Patient N.D.H is a close contact (F1) of patient NNK, who was previously announced. Patient N.D.H's first sample taken on June 17th tested negative, and a second sample taken on June 28th tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Sixth new casePatient HVH, female, born in 1989, works as a salesperson on Nguyen Van Cu Street, residing at Phu My Trung Apartment Building, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City. Patient HVH is a close contact (F1) of patient HTTH, who was previously announced. On June 16th, patient HVH tested negative for Covid-19 using a rapid test. On June 18th, patient HVH was quarantined at home and tested negative using a PCR test. On June 28th, the Quan Bau Ward Health Station conducted a second PCR test, which returned a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Seventh new casePatient D.TL, female, born in 1950, retired, residing in Vinh Thanh block, Dong Vinh ward, Vinh city. Patient D.TL returned home from Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City on May 29th; was quarantined at Dong Vinh ward health station on May 31st and tested negative in the first, second, and third tests. On June 18th, patient D.TL completed 21 days of centralized quarantine and returned home 10 days ago. On June 28th, patient D.TL's fourth test result came back positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Eighth new casePatient NHN, male, born in 1960, a farmer, residing in Vinh Xuan Hamlet, Hung Dong Commune, Vinh City. Patient NHN is a close contact (F1) of patient BTS, who was previously announced. On June 27th, patient NHN tested negative with a rapid test and was subsequently isolated at Hung Dong Kindergarten. On June 28th, patient NHN's PCR test sample returned a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

ninth new casePatient PTT is female, born in 1988, self-employed, residing in Nghi Truong commune, Nghi Loc district. Patient PTT was being treated in the Obstetrics Department of Nghe An General Hospital, in the same room as patient LVG, who was previously announced. On the evening of June 28th, patient PTT was isolated and tested, resulting in a positive test for SARS-CoV-2.

Tenth new casePatient CVS, male, born in 1963, occupation: farmer, address: Hamlet 10, Dien Thinh Commune, Dien Chau District. Patient CVS is a close contact (F1) of patient CXH, who was previously announced. On June 17th, patient CVS was isolated at Dien Thinh Commune Kindergarten and the first sample tested negative. On the evening of June 28th, patient CVS's second sample tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Thus, from June 13th to the present, Nghe An province has detected 96 positive cases of Covid-19, including: Vinh City with 61 cases, Dien Chau with 14 cases, Tan Ky with 1 case, Quy Hop with 5 cases, Nam Dan with 4 cases, Do Luong with 1 case, Hoang Mai town with 2 cases, Nghia Dan with 1 case, Nghi Loc with 3 cases and Quynh Luu with 4 cases.
