Hamlet 3, Nghia Hop, Tan Ky currently has nearly 100 dairy cows. After the morning milking session, around 4-6 pm is the time when families are busy for the second milking session of the day. The cows are fed, rested and then bathed to prepare for milking. Mr. Nguyen Hung Son's family currently has 10 dairy cows, on average the family milks about 200-220 kg of milk per day.

The udder of a dairy cow is the cleanest part. Each cow gives 22 kg of milk per day, and gives milk for 260 days a year. At a price of 14,000 VND per kg, farmers will earn 308,000 VND per day per cow for milk.

In response to the need to solve problems related to product output, veterinary care and milk transportation, dairy farmers in Nghia Hop established the Nghia Hop Dairy Cooperative with 12 members. The cooperative elects a member with a truck to go twice a day to import milk to the milk factory in Nghia Dan.

For households that live far away and cannot bring milk to the collection point, this truck continues to go to each house to collect milk for import. After collecting in Nghia Hop, the truck goes to Nghia Dong to collect milk for the cooperative members here. It is known that the cooperative members who specialize in importing milk are paid 6 million VND/month after deducting fuel and oil costs.

Meanwhile, in the fields, a group of people were assigned to cut elephant grass to process for the cows to eat at night, in time for milking early the next morning. The work involved working all day with the dairy cows, but in return, the income was high, so everyone was excited. Currently, the total herd of dairy cows in Nghia Hop Cooperative is 150.
