Chaired by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, today (November 27), the Government held its regular meeting for November 2015.

At this meeting, the Government listened to and discussed the Report on the implementation of Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP of the Government; the socio-economic situation in November and 11 months of 2015; and the draft Decree regulating Government agencies.

The report on the socio-economic situation presented by Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh at the meeting affirmed that in the past 11 months, our country's economy continued to recover and achieved higher growth results than the same period last year. The macro economy was stable, major balances of the economy were maintained; inflation was controlled at a low level; credit growth was quite good, higher than the rate of capital mobilization.

Industrial production, including processing and manufacturing, had a much higher growth rate than the same period in previous years. Agricultural production, despite many difficulties, still developed steadily.

Total demand and purchasing power increased compared to the same period last year; international visitors to our country in November continued to increase compared to the previous month and the same period last year.

Registered and implemented FDI capital both increased compared to the same period in 2014; the investment and business environment has improved significantly; business development activities have changed positively.

International integration has achieved many results; social security and social welfare continue to be ensured; political security and social order and safety are maintained...

“If there are no major changes from now until the end of December 2015, we can completely carry out the calculations and forecasts on the implementation of the goals, targets and tasks that have been reported to the National Assembly,” said Minister Bui Quang Vinh.
